I also meant to say that the organic Greek style yogurt fits your prime directive of "must add value". :-) I have read various studies that say that calcium from a dairy source is useful in weight loss. http://irweb.swmed.edu/chn/naa/tipsheets/ca_wtloss.htm

I am a firm believer in allowing treats. :-) But I also don't care for articial colours and sweetners.

Current favourite: Nonfat Greek Style Yogurt (100 calories) with a teaspoon of honey and a couple of walnuts mixed in. runs under 200 calories. :-)

The other wonder: Angel Food Cake. Yum.

Hey, it's Giyen. We met at BarCamp. Was at the crunkcrush table. I just found your blog. Junk free July sounds like a great idea. I think I'll try it in August ... it just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I don't resist treating myself ... but generally I just nibble or eat half!
