Podcast Review: The Web Ahead

How hard is it to learn something new? In this day and age, not very. It’s as easy as just putting in some headphones; then just … press play.  Listening to podcasts is a great way to pass time, to learn There are many podcasts out there, covering a great many topics. Being a web developer, I tend to enjoy the nerdier podcasts. One of my favorites is The Web Ahead.

What is it exactly, you wonder? The Web Ahead is a podcast created and hosted by Jen Simmons, a New York-based designer that loves Drupal. Each week she interviews experts guests about changing technologies and the future of the web. It’s one of those podcasts where you should go back to the beginning and listen to the entire catalog; Some episodes a few times. There’s a lot of gold within. Jen finds interesting guests to talk with, each a unique character, and passionate about the topic. Jen herself is a character, and always intelligent.  She engages the guest with good questions, and occasionally gets caught up in moments of nerd enthusiasm.
