Almost Election Day
Tomorrow is Election Day in the United States.
People have been casting their ballots during early voting. Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are the Democratic underdogs, against the fascist candidates Donald Trump and J. D. Vance.
That said, Kamala Harris is pulling out all the stops, and pulling no punches. She’s been doing everything she can to get elected as our President. In the last few weeks, she’s held massive rallies in the swing states – Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, Arizona, and North Carolina. She’s been knocking it out of the park. I’m here for it! America needs her.
The polls show the race as being very close. Not gonna lie. It’s quite worrisome that so many people are going to vote for Trump. But projections look like the hard work of the Harris/Walz campaign is paying off. She seems to be gaining ground. Ann Selzer, a respected Iowa pollster, published a new poll over the weekend in The Des Moines Register, which shows that Harris took a 3 point lead over Trump in Iowa.
Remember: Up until 2024 July 21, just over 3 months ago, Joe Biden was the Democratic nominee for President. That was when Biden dropped out, and endorsed Kamala Harris. It’s remarkable that in this short time, Kamala Harris built up her campaign, created a strategy, and asked Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate. Will Kamala Harris become our next President? Let’s hope so! We’ll finally find out when the polls close tomorrow, and all the votes get tallied. Election Day 2024 is almost here. It feels like it took forever to get to this point. I think America is ready to turn the page, and create a new way forward.
