My PHP Tek 2025 Talk: Keeping Up With PHP

I just gave this talk for the first time at PHP Tek 2025. The talk titled “Keeping Up with PHP” starts by informing the audience about the state of PHP. Then I review the features provided by PHP 8.0 through 8.2, where I pick out the more influential features. Then I discuss the currently active PHP versions — 8.3 and 8.4 — in more detail. My hope with this talk is that people would be interested to learn about the modern features of recent PHP versions, for people to use them in their code.
